You were eating for two. That was the justification that
everyone gave you during the last nine months. Now the baby is out and you are
back down to one. You suddenly realize that the baby wasn't eating their fair
share. You're not pregnant but you still look pregnant. You decide to start
dieting again, but where do youstart ?
Weight loss after pregnancy is a step by step process.
1. Admit that you made some mistakes. Most pregnant women
eat too much. You need to acknowledge that you've been overeating. This will
help you make the transition back into a healthy diet. The worst thing you can
do is ignore the mistakes you made.
2. Climb back up on that scale. As depressing as it might
sound, you need to weigh yourself again. To accurately track your weight loss
from here you will need to know your starting point.
3. Come up with goal. Imagine that you were a passenger on
an airplane that crashed into the ocean. Now you're on a life raft. You look
around and all you see is ocean. You have some paddles, so what do you do? Do
you pick a random direction and start paddling? That seems pretty useless.
Without a realistic goal that you can visualize it will be
very hard to motivate yourself. That's why you need to come up with an actual
weight that you want to reach. Figure out exactly how many pounds you want to
lose. That will give you direction and motivation. Imagine yourself back on that raft. You see shoreline in the
distance. How much more motivation do you have now? Goals make work much
easier. I
4. Focus on endurance. If you are a beginner to dieting it
can be hard to know what to focus on. If you focus on too many things, you'll
feel overwhelmed. If you focus on the wrong things, you will lose your
motivation.
That's why you should focus on endurance. You know what your
goal is, now you just need to keep working toward it.
5. Reward yourself. Find time to celebrate your victories.
If you lost two pounds one week, then that's cause for celebration. Right now
all of your time and focus is toward the baby.
You need to take a step back and realize that you are a
person too. As you succeed in your goals, you need to do something for
yourself.
6. When necessary, readjust your goals. You might reach your
goal sooner than you thought. Or, you might realize that your goal was too
lofty. In a perfect work, you would find a healthy diet that would last the
rest of your life. Realistically, you want the diet to last as long as
possible. If you healthfully alter your goals, your diet will last longer.

I unveil more into diet goals and how important the mindset during this time is
going to have to be one of hopeful determination.
These six steps should help with weight loss after
pregnancy. Everyone knows how difficult this time can be.Don't use that as an
excuse to not do anything. Instead, rise up and get your body back.
